The Bogner Man

"Love for detail is Bogner"

Behind every successful fashion brand stands a creative head. Responsible for the looks of Bogner Man is chief designer Dirk Jaster. Since 2006 he has successfully been turning design concepts into fashionable looks. His office is his personal playground where he collects fabric samples, themes and inspiration sources on his mood board to be able to draw sketches and design prototypes. The designer gets most of his ideas on vacation but also in his everyday life.

The typical Bogner Man appreciates tradition but it should have a modern twist. At the same time he likes elegant designs and luxurious fashion pieces. Therefore Dirk Jaster focuses on elaborate and sophisticated details in his designs, such as implied laser cut pockets or wave-shaped stitchings.

At Bogner it’s all about luxury sportswear. Inspiration is also drawn directly from athletes that Jaster sees when going jogging on the street for example. Interesting details are directly integrated into the new collection afterwards. Extravagant fabrics, intricate stitches or specific colors – all details are combined to tell one single story, When seeking inspiration Jaster does not rely on his personal taste alone. He regularly talks to the Bogner Man customer to learn about his style preferences and interests.

Dirk's location recommendation:

The typical Bogner man prefers design bars and high quality restaurants like the newly opened Melrose in Vienna. Here one can enjoy Californian cuisine in a stylish ambience. Different room with themes such as „California Feeling“ or „Hollywood Lounge Flair“ are the perfect surroundings for enjoying a delicious meal. Taste the grilled sea bass fillet with avocado ginger spinach or Melrose’s skyscraper with a mix of sweets and cheese for dessert. If you need a digestif afterwards take a seat in one of the cozy lounge chairs at the bar next door and simply relax.
