A woman full of surprises, Viktoria Rebensburg shocked the world in Vancouver in 2010, when she snatched the gold medal in the Olympic giant slalom. It is (unsurprisingly) one of her fondest memories: “It was my first win therefore already very special. The fact that it was at the Olympic Games made it an extremely wonderful experience.”
Rebensburg has been on skis since she was just three years old, and admits that her sport heavily affects her personality and her style. “At competitions I’m a very focused person, and concentrate only on my goal. Off the slopes, my beautiful hometown of Tegernsee influences not just my clothing, but also my lifestyle. I’m always happy to be out in nature and the mountains.”
