In 2012, BOGNER celebrated its 80th company anniversary - and at the same time a young, colorful world first. The company had dressed the German team at the Winter Olympics 17 times in a row. Now BOGNER also outfitted the 400 German athletes, support staff and officials for the first time in summer! At the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as official events of the Olympic Games in London, they wore clothing from BOGNER, as did the 170 participants in the Paralympics. The jackets in the luminous colors turquoise and pink and the elegant white pants attracted the eyes of billions of television viewers to the German teams. And the special highlight - the reversible jacket could be transformed into a sober dark blue top for evening events and receptions with a simple flick of the wrist. “The Olympic Games have always been a big fashion show as well, setting trends,” commented Michael Vesper, the German chef de mission. “Germany is certainly catching everyone’s eye in London!”
